Panthers vs. Patriots NFL Pick – Preseason Week 3

Week 3 of the NFL Preseason kicks off Thursday night with six games to the card. For exactly what people refer to as a dress rehearsal the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots have been in action. I don’t understand so much about that in this case. Tom Brady may or might not perform in this match. It’s not much of a dress rehearsal without Brady carrying a snap.
Bill Belichick, in Belichick fashion, hasn’t disclosed much, although brady has stated he wishes to get any snaps in the preseason. The Patriots have looked good, despite not playing in the preseason. Depth does not seem like a problem for the Patriots due to their defense which is going to be helpful from the regular season.
The Patriots enter at the preseason with 22-17 over the Titans and also wins over the Lions of 31-3. They looked crisp and sharp at both games on the street. The Lions didn’t come close to scoring a touchdown as the Patriots came close to throwing a shutout. Note that Brady has not played a down, and they did just fine using the copies playing.
Brian Hoyer has lots of expertise in the NFL, so it is not likely to be anything new for him, if he gets the start here. Cam Newton hasn’t played in the preseason also. He is coming from a shoulder injury which severely restricted his capacity to zip round the ball .
Newton will find an opportunity to shake the rust off . He played through the injury when he shouldn’t have. The Panthers weren’t a playoff competition, therefore pushing Cam was not a move that is good. Ron Rivera has said that Newton and series from the Pats will perform.
We will not know until just prior to the game with Belichick will perform with Brady, but they’re in company with two quality backups. Head below to our complimentary Panthers vs. Patriots pick for Week 3 of the NFL Preseason.

This is a chance for Cam to shake off the rust and convince himself using an NFL area. Nothing is going to be too exotic for the offense in this area. The Panthers started the preseason with a win against the Bears in the road, 23-13, along with also a loss at home against the courthouse. It’s become clear that the Panthers are going to have no achievement without Newton.
The quarterback play behind Newton is not very encouraging. The Panthers drafted Will Grier, a gunslinger from West Virginia. He set up monster numbers in school, but was a shotgun passer in the Big 12. Not each quarterback create like Pat Mahomes or Baker Mayfield and instantly can go to the NFL. In fact, there are far more Large 12 QB busts.
The transition is usually tricky to get quarterbacks playing that sort of spread crime. For Mahomeshe gets by with his ability. Grier does not have the capability to run about and create something from nothing. The Chiefs were clever by implementing components of Mahomes’ offense.
This crime in Carolina is constructed across Cam Newton. Grier will need to show a great deal more before he has coordinators structuring a playbook. Grier is coming off a performance that is shoddy, as he handed for 75 yards with an interception on 10-of-19 passing. I don’t have much faith in Kyle Allen and Tyler Heinicke contrary to this deep New England shield also.
Who I do have faith in his Patriots’ rookie Jarrett Stidham. I liked Stidham when he had been in college when he was among those few quarterbacks to figure out the Alabama defense and that I like his outlook. Stidham was talked about often during the school football season, but everybody seemed to forget about him when it was done. The Patriots scooped him up in the fourth-round and so far so good in New England.
Stidham passed for 179 yards and a touchdown against the Lions and followed it up with a different marquee performance against the Titans. Stidham torched the Titans for 193 yards and a touchdown at a 22-17 win. Quarter play in the preseason covers and dismissed spreads. At house on Thursday night, I have more confidence in the Patriots’ backups to outperform that the Panthers in this one.
