Team Ineos have signed Giro d’Italia winner Richard Carapaz on a deal .
The rider will make the movement after winning his first Grand Tour.
He will join a group featuring three additional Grand Tour champions – Geraint Thomas, Egan Bernal and Chris Froome, who won this year’s Tour de France.
“This is a wonderful chance for me to keep my development and expansion for a rider,” said Carapaz.
“The team continues to go from strength to strength, year after year. I already know a lot of the riders around the team and I am really excited about working with everybody at Team Ineos from next year”
After enduring a succession of injuries in an accident a Tour de France winner, froome, missed this year’s Tour however the 34-year-old Briton is optimistic of making the staff in France.
