Antonio Brown is set to match up to the Oakland Raiders on Monday night to end when a threat of suspension hung .
The receiver was through a preseason which included a foot accident caused by also a threat along with a cryotherapy machine to give up the NFL completely because of a row over a helmet that he wished to wear which the league deemed dangerous.
Those troubles reached a head with reports claiming Brown and Raiders .
The row blew up following Mayock issued Brown with a letter confirming significant penalties for missing practice sessions while solving his helmet issues – Brown subsequently posted the letter Instagram together with the words”in case your team wish to hate” printed over it.
Throughout the episode, Brown has been fortunate to have stated to Mayock”I will hit you in the face” then punted a local ball off, adding”fine me for this”.
Reports emerged later on Thursday that the Raiders would suspend Brown, at least .
But, amid additional asserts that Brown had filed an”mental apology” for his part from the Mayock row,” Raiders head coach Jon Gruden confirmed on Friday that the 31-year-old would be available for Oakland’s season opener.
Gruden said:”I do not really have a prepared statement but I will just say Antonio is back today. We’re really enthusiastic about that and prepared to move on.
“He’s had a good deal of time to consider things and we’re pleased to have him back. I understand Raider Nation is excited about this too.”
When asked if he would play on Monday night, Gruden included:”That is the plan, that is the plan.”
