RB Salzburg striker Erling Haaland said after bettering his father Alf Inge he wants to win the Premier League with Leeds United.
The 19-year-old Norwegian scored a in a 6-2 thrashing of Genk on his Champions League debut from the opening Group E clash on Tuesday of the side.
The teenager’s goals have set tongues as a result of cult after his father, who once famously battled during his fascination with England, that included playing Manchester City, Leeds and Nottingham Forest with Roy Keane.
Speaking back in 2017 to Norwegian paper Aftenposten while playing for Molde, Erling Haaland stated:”I need to be the ideal. The dream is always to win the Premier League.
“Additionally, the target is to become a much better player than Dad was. I am hoping to have more international matches than he did”
Haaland was created in Leeds and supports the Championship club, who are now top of their table together with five wins out of their opening seven games.
Haaland has scored seven goals in 11 appearances in the Bundesliga this duration and signed for more than # 4m RB Salzburg in January.
