Molatham is an interesting contender for Roger Varian, having won the Convivial Maiden at York and conquered Wichita from the Flying Scotsman Stakes at Doncaster in his last 2 starts. Mums Tipple on his introduction narrowly beat him at Ascot.
The Clive Cox-trained Favorable was no game for Pinatubo when runner-up at Glorious Goodwood, but could reestablish competition after a victory from the Solario Stakes at Sandown.
The Charlie Hills-trained Royal Commando and mark Johnstons Iffraaz, the Mystery Power of Richard Hannon will be the other hopefuls.
