Later making a series of majestic performances to prevail on Monday in the UK & Ireland Womens qualifier at Wigan fallon Sherrock will make her Alexandra Palace debut.
Former Lakeside finalist Sherrock has enjoyed a fine season on the BDO circuit in 2019 and now she rolls it off with qualification for the greatest event in world darts.
Following the star improved through the Rest of the World Womens qualifier at Hildesheim weekend the 25-year-old will be joined by womens world champion Mikuru Suzuki at the capital following month.
They will become the fifth and fourth girls to incorporate in a PDC World Championship, following in the footsteps of Gayl King, Anastasia Dobromyslova along with Lisa Ashton.
Sherrock was in excellent form throughout the day, falling 3 legs inside her three matches and boasting the highest tournament average of 43 competitions.
She claimed the scalp of the past seasons World Championship finalist Lorraine Winstanley 6-3, that was sandwiched between whitewash wins Kirsty Chubb and Lisa Brosnan, together with Sherrock averaging a dazzling 99.10 against Brosnan.
This set up a showdown against four-time womens world champion Ashton after The Lancashire Rose had observed in her bid off Deta Hedman and Rachel Brooks, from the semi-finals.
Sherrock produced a storming start, racing to a 4-0 lead with a 109 average. Ashton reduced the arrears with some blistering of her to 5-4, but the Milton Keynes celebrity held her own to prevail using a 91 average.
Sherrock faced Natalie Gilbert in the final, who dropped four legs in watching Natasha Richards, Alexandra Howard, Mandy Smith and Denise Cassidy.
However, Gilberts fairy-tale conduct was halted by Sherrock in the closing, who dared 6-3 to ensure a minimum of #7,500 by virtue of qualifying for the championship.
Earlier Benito van de Pas was just only one of 3 men to secure their place at Alexandra Palace month via the PDPA Tour Card Holder Qualifier.
Luke Humphries success in last nights World Youth Championship ensured over Adam Gawlas that three qualification spots are available from Van de Pas and the qualifier came alongside Kevin Burness and Matthew Edgar.
Van de Pas – a three-time winner around the PDC Pro Tour, kicked his qualifying bid off with a victory against World Cup star John Michael.
Big Ben subsequently saw off his fellow Dutchman Yordi Meeuwisse, former UK Open finalist Barrie Bates and 2018 UK Open semi-finalist Robert Owen, defeating the Welshman 7-4 using a 99.60 moderate to guard his sixth successive Ally Pally appearance.
Burness will feature in this event for the 2nd year after producing a series of displays in qualification.
Before edging out Reece Robinson in a quality contest which saw both men moderate in excess of 100, proceedings opened with success over youngster Niels Zonneveld.
The Northern Irishman then triumphed in a different decider against Mario Robbe, before easing past two-time significant winner Robert Thornton and visiting off Bradley Brooks to seal his own eligibility.
Edgar – who qualified for last seasons championship via the Pro Tour Order of Merit, battled Gary Eastwood and past Tytus Kanik in his opening ties, before easing beyond German youngster Christian Bunse 6-2.
This setup a tussle against Adam Hunt – even though Hunt was not able to finish the dual with Edgar running out a winner, that came through the PDPA qualifier of this past year.
Jamie Lewis – a semi-finalist at Alexandra Palace two years ago, was among several celebrities.
Former BDO world champions Mark Webster and Christian Kist additionally suffered disappointment in World Cup quarter-finalist Martin Schindler, Together with two-time Significant winner Thornton, Wigan and former UK Open semi-finalist Alan Norris.
