Amari Cooper isn’t sweating Cowboys contract talk

Amari Cooper and the Dallas Cowboys haven’t made public headway in their contract negotiations, and the star receiver couldn’t shed any light on if progress has been made lately.
“I have not talked to [my representatives ] in a minute,” Cooper said, through the team’s official site. “I really don’t enjoy speaking about the contract. I feel like it is one of these things which will naturally happen.”
Cooper, coming off a end of this 2018 campaign to Dallas following the transaction, is more concerned than when he will put his John Hancock to a contract about learning the crime of Kellen Moore.

“Yeah, I only manage my business,” Cooper stated. “I’m more worried about camp”
Cooper has reason to worry. The 24-year-old is place to make $13.924 million around the fifth year of the rookie contract. The Cowboys — that gave up a first-round choice could then employ the franchise tag in case a deal is not struck, which might amount to a pay increase for Cooper.
For Cooper, who snagged 53 moves for 725 yards and six touchdowns the focus is about building his rapport with Dak Prescott. Through minicamp, the receiver that was dynamic has moved more than he was used with Cooper going in motion more this offseason and seeing increased time in the slot.
“I really like it. I loved the offense this past year,” Cooper said. “With Kellen, I still love it. I believe that it gives me an opportunity to display my skill-set together with the type. He is clearly a good coach. He’s a young guy and we could relate to him a lot and come up to him talk about certain things.”
All signs are Cooper. If these predictions prove accurate, he would get paid if he isn’t locked by the Cowboys down long-term beforehand.
