Some moments from the Ingebrigtsen household video collection are well known.
There was time midway through last summertime 5,000 m final in Berlins Olympic Stadium before storming into gold when 17-year-old Jakob brother Henrik.
In 2017, their Filip – younger than Henrik and older than Jakob – fell over the lineup at the Olympic Stadium of London as he became the first European to reach a planet trophy in 14 decades.
Back in March, Henrik dived full length at a striking, if unsuccessful, attempt to steal the silver trophy in the European Indoor Championships in Glasgow from Britains Chris OHare, with Jakob taking victory once more.
Others are not as well known.

On the left, Henrik. To the best, Filip. The earliest of the familys seven children, Kristoffer.
A dining table rounds, the teens, sporting tracksuits, review a current national youth event in.
Lets hear how it went in Oslo. Let us start with Kristoffer, says a voice off screen.
No, answers Kristoffer, glowering back down the lens.
This was a great trip. You didnt have any significant goals, did you? Did you? Says the voice.
No, no more! States Kristoffer, developing increasingly irritated.
The voice then asks the boys to outline their goals.
And Kristoffer? Following his siblings have had his or her say it enquires.
We shall try to not come past, interjects Henrik.
I will not come in last! Shouts Kristoffer, aiming an elbow biceps.
Its a picture of the building of sports family dynasty.
The European title that Jakob acquired in Berlin in 2018 was passed to him. Henrik, who topped the podium in Helsinki 2012 was subsequently succeeded by him.
All three head for this weeks World Championships in Doha, together with Filip and Jakob contenders such as medals that are 1500m and Henrik linking them in the 5,000 m, in which the trio are shots.
Is less clear where this geyser of sporting achievement appeared from.
Surely, rising up in a small Norwegian town of around 75,000, Sandnes facing out on to the North Sea , the young Ingebrigtsens spirit was claustrophobic.
Kristoffer, Henrik, Filip, along with the younger Martin and Jakob, would race each other getting in and out of their automobile, if they were not battling for supremacy on bicycles at the swimming pool or on the trail.
13, their sister Ingrid, is currently training as an athlete. William, jokingly measured up for running shoes on his ultrasound scanning, is to begin a severe sports career, but is just five.
The family tradition of game is profound, however.
Their dad, Gjert – himself increased in a poor home – is a logistics supervisor. Tone, their mother, possesses a set of salons.
Im not particularly interested in game, Gjert tells BBC Sport.
We are a typical household with lots of children. We spent a great deal of time outdoors, skiing, walking round, going to the mountains, cross-country skiing, exercising outside… but its by coincidence. We never planned for anything
That shifted.
Because his sons sport has grown more serious has Gjert. Hes now representative, manager and coach, dictating their event calendar, commercial prices and gruelling coaching sessions that are high-tempo.
It could be that Im rather strict in how I view things, he reflects.
The boys return to me and say:I want to be a European winner. I say:I need to help you, I can assist you, however you have to do everything that I tell you
If you do not, I cant have part of it. My purpose is to see all the children succeed, to reach their targets. Should their goals are reached by them, I reach mine.
I stand out from different parents. I am very rough and its a sort of contract between the boys to help them be the best they can be – but they need to endure me after them every day each year.
Henrik, Filip and Jakob have marketed themselves entirely.
Filip recalls waking early as a eight-year-old to do an hour lactic-heavy roller ski – a warm-weather variant of cross-country ski – until he headed to college.
Henrik remembers asking his dad to establish sessions in the afternoons as well as the mornings. His father agreed, however, told them not to inform teachers unless they grew concerned that he pushed them too hard.
There is nothing about their devotion today. Each September, Gjert generates a training program for the following 12 months, laminating it to avoid any alterations. He is going to be trackside, barking orders and collating particulars of his sons advancement and retrieval in a spreadsheet.
Within a bid to lure patrons to fund the brothers professions, Gjert defeated his sons reluctance and allowed Norwegian television to shoot a reality show.
Team Ingebrigtsen catches the tensions that continue with Gjert hold on the lives of his family.
In a awkward spectacle, Filip accuses him of running adictatorship as a trip to southern Europe with his girlfriend, who is sitting in the area, is quashed in favour of instruction.
In another, eldest boy Kristoffer – who would reject athletics for a career in economics and a relative life of his own – calls his own parentsidiotic for having their seventh child, William, 25 years following his own birth.
I think they are doing so instead of going back and focusing on connections with the children they have, he adds caustically.
Gjert gives as good as he gets.
He looks down the barrel at the same point and states:I dont need to be an angry guy, I want to be a father.
However, when an angry guy will deliver them their fantasies, Ill tolerate that sacrifice.
Hes far from the first athletic father to intertwine his achievement with this of his kids.
The Williams sisters, Mary Pierce and andre Agassi are among the tennis stars who were driven to stardom by domineering father figures, but there are risks as well as rewards.
As big fans of motorsport generally, and Lewis Hamilton particularly, Henrik, Filip and Jakob will understand the story of the Formula 1 world champion and also his dad, Anthony.
Hamilton sacked his dad as his agent in 2010 after he had masterminded his rise to the top. The pair barely talked for the next two years, but have slowly awakened, together with the driver offered in July as saying that their relationship is that thebest we have ever had.
Do the ends of sporting careers justify Gjerts mean daddy act?
Much of their impetus for his childrens sports comes from within themselves and how far is currently adapting to the all-consuming civilization of the household?
Theres not any easy answer. There is not any answer either.
He will always be my father. You can not take off that hat and say now I am your coach, says Filip. Its hard, but I believe, all in all, it is much more positives than negatives. He provides more as a mentor because he is also a daddy – he always wants me to do my best and now also has my best interests at heart.
Jakobs take is a little different.
There are tons of ups and downs and drawbacks and positive about having a father for a coach., he says. For different athletes I would not suggest it because it is too much difficult work and you also want a dad outside of working out.
For now, and our whole lives, he has been a coach because we have asked ourselves what is the most important – do we really wish a household or do we want to run quickly?
Sons that run relationships which hold quickly. Gjert, who has recently written a book will hope both dreams are realised in Doha. And beyond.
