Chris Wilder is a”great coach” and can be endorsed to lead Sheffield United into”better and bigger things”, states soon-to-be only owner Prince Abdullah.
Lifelong Blades fan Wilder has directed the team to two promotions in three phases, including a return to the Premier League for the first time since 2007.
Meanwhile, the Saudi prince, who won a 18-month-long legal battle with fellow co-owner Kevin McCabe over the club’s possession on Monday, says Sheffield United are”blessed” to have the Englishman accountable at Bramall Lane.
“I have a very good connection with Chris,” Prince Abdullah told Sky Sports News. “I know a good coach once I see one. Chris is a excellent coach. He is currently going to get better and he is getting better.
“For us I feel it’s lucky that we found that a mentor just like Chris. But in my philosophy and should you examine why clubs are successful… large clubs would be the clubs which don’t have any personality above the club.

About Kevin McCabe:”I will consistently treat Kevin McCabe with respect. I gave Kevin many supplies (for a compromise) – lawyers are expensive. We could not agree”
On the use of Belgian mentor and board director Jan Van Winckel:”He has one of the best eyes for gift. He told me to get Yaya Toure when he was (playing with ) in Belgium. I’ll use him but Chris is the face of the club and his conclusions about the first team are the decisions we will proceed with.”
