The University of Central Florida Knights have already been on a remarkable run because 2017 as a part of the AAC’s rise into the conversation about becoming a”Power Six” soccer conference.
Along the way, UCF had a 25-game win series culminating in an eight-point loss and just two seasons.
While the Knights aren’t even at the College Football playoff discussion (again) due largely to their own strength of schedule, they’ve quietly become a dispersed covering system for bettors.
Throughout their undefeated 2017 effort the Knights increased that victory to 9-4 ATS at 2018 and were 8-4-1 versus the amount.
So much about the 2019 schedule under head coach Josh Heupel, UCF is 2-0 against the spread, easily covering a gigantic 44 points at UCF Florida A&M before covering 13.5 vs Florida Atlantic by a factor of 3 in a 48-14 win. That is the same Owls team that scored 21 points against CFP contender Ohio State at Week 1 and coated.
Speedy math tells us that UCF is 11-3 ATS in its last 14 games and 19-8-1 vs the spread because the beginning of the 2017 season. Only Fresno State (20-6-2 ATS) has a much better mark over the 28-game period but they play at the Mountain West and don’t get a whole lot of attention.
They Feel Disrespected and Take No Prisoners
Its fan base and this team have been outspoken in the playoff conversation in a system that was imperfect about the Knights’ remedy. On the field, UCF has adopted the”control the controllables” mindset and it is working on them.
Perhaps Josh Heupel Just Covers Spreads
The Tigers went to complete the 2017 season, before departing Missouri where he had been the offensive coordinator and QB coach. That usually means that Josh Heupel coached crimes are 11-6 ATS since October 7, 2017.
They A Fantastic Football Team
Last, have we considered the fact that the Knights are merely a competent soccer team?
This past year, UCF ended with the 5th-most metres per game on offense and the No. 6 scoring offense. Defensively they were No. 24 in points from and No. 32 in passing yards allowed.
So much in 2019, the Knights have the No. 23 scoring offense and the No. 5 scoring defense.
I’m betting on them to cover Stanford per week and unless oddsmakers begin fixing, I will be financing them for the future.
